Hawke Nature Trek 10x32 Binoculars have been designed to be taken outside in all weathers and used, as they are in a shock resistant polycarbonate body, which provides peace of mind when out in the field. They are very strong, because of the polycarbonate body, but lightweight s well, which means that they can be carried all day without any strain on the user. They are nitrogen filled to avoid fogging and completely sealed to make them waterproof so they can be washed under a tap at the end of the day, just in case, the weather was particularly bad and they got filthy dirty.
The internal-focus optical design, helps with the waterproof seal and the rubber focus wheel, is fast and accurate to use, even when wearing gloves. The high resolution image ensures no details are lost when viewing at either long or short distances and the BAK 4, phase corrected prisms ensure a superbly crisp, round image, with very little if any distortion and the phase correction stage of manufacture helps keep any stray light to a minimum. The optics are multi-coated for additional light gathering power and the eye relief at 13mm, helps with eye strain throughout the day.
The eye-cups twist up, so can be used with or without spectacles and are great when used with sunglasses if the lighting is particularly bright. If glasses are being kept on, then the eye-cups stay down, but if the user prefers to take spectacles off, or doesn't wear spectacles, then the cups twist up for easier viewing. The Hawke Nature Trek binoculars have a three stop eyesight correction wheel on the right hand barrel, so they can be fine tuned to a specific /- correction. Its really easy to set up, just focus the binoculars and then shut the left eye and turn the correction wheel left or right, until the image becomes absolutely crisp; the binoculars are not tailor-made for each individual. With a close focus distance of 2m - 2.5m, the Nature-Trek binoculars provide effortless focusing and impressive depth of field which gives them excellent colour rendition and contrast.
The field of view is slightly narrower on the 10x model, due to the extra magnification, but the added advantage is the chance to get a bigger image and although they are a stronger magnification, they are not difficult to hold steady. The Nature Trek 10x32 Binoculars are supplied with a neoprene strap, which is really comfortable to wear, a case and objective lens caps, which stay attached to the lenses and hang down out of the way when not in use. The Nature Trek also have rain guards for when the weather really is abominable.
